Restrictions on icebreaking navigation in The Greater Port Saint-Petersburg were introduced

According to the order of the 1st deputy captain of The Greater Port Saint-Petersburg A.F. Glukhov dated 21.12.2009 № 02-KP-217-R restrictions on icebreaking navigation in the approaching waterways in The Greater Port Saint-Petersburg were introduced. The restrictions were introduced for purposes of ensuring icebreaking navigation safety on the basis of an actual state and development forecasts of ice conditions in the approaching waterways of the seaports of the eastern part of Gulf of Finland.

Starting from 00-00 24.12.2009 to the moment of restrictions cancelling ships with power plants capacity less than 2000 h.p. and tugged barge-towboat stocks will not be accepted. Due to correction of the ice conditions terms of restrictions are subject to change.
