Construction of Maritime Station in the Seaport Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky

On August 11, 2016 the Petropavlovsk Branch Director Aleksandr Gashenko as a part of delegation participated in the visiting inspection of the maritime station facilities under construction in the seaport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

Deputy Chairman of the Kamchatka Territory Government Yuriy Zubar and Deputy of the State Duma of the V convocation Irina Yarovaya, as well as the captain of the seaport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Anatoly Ivanov, General Director of JSC “Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Commercial Sea Port” Ivan Kapralov and other officials paid a working visit to the construction site and examined the construction progress.

According to the results of the examination of the facilities under construction, the exit meeting participants discussed a wide range of issues related to further development of the seaport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky infrastructure, including within the framework of implementation of the investment project of the “Kamchatka” territory of advanced socio-economic development.

Construction of Maritime Station in the seaport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky started in July 2014. The total area of the future 4-storey building of the seaport is over 8000 square meters. The station is designed for the simultaneous servicing of 200 people.

It includes a waiting room, a room of mother and child, lockers, luggage and ticket offices, liaison office, information desk, rooms for long stay of passengers, border checkpoint on the Russian Federation state border, as well as offices for the port services.
