Berth No. 34 and Berth No. 34A in the seaport of Novorossiysk put into operation

In compliance with Rosmorrechflot Permit No. 23-RU23305001-NZh-39/33-2018 of September 19, 2018 the reconstructed passenger berths No. 34 and No. 34A of the coaster breakwater of the seaport of Novorossiysk have been put into operation in the seaport.

The passenger berths have been reconstructed within the FSUE “Rosmorport” capital budget for the period between November 2015 and April 2018.

During the construction works, the jetty trestle of Berth No. 34 and Berth No. 34A has been dismantled. The gravity part of Berth No. 34 has been reconstructed by replacing the upper building and installing the backing. The bulwark and the gravity part of Berth No. 34 and Berth No. 34A, the ramp of Berth No. 34A have been reconstructed. Upon reconstruction the length of each berth increased by 78.7 meters and the length of Berth No. 34 was 288 meters and the length of Berth No. 34A was 149 meters.

These measures allowed for restoring the hydraulic facility for its further use to service large passenger vessels of Russian and international passenger lines.

Passenger vessels of Albatross type with the length of 206 meters, the breadth of over 25 meters and draft of 7.5 meters can be moored on Berth No 34. For its turn, vessels of the Expedition type with the length of 104 meters, the breadth of about 19 meters and draft of 4.7 meters can be serviced on Berth No. 34A.
