Information on the seaport of Novorossiysk in the Register of Russian Seaports changed

Under Rosmorrechflot No ZD-345-r of August 12, 2019, data on the seaport of Novorossiysk has been changed in the Register of Russian seaports.

The corrections are related to changing the number of berths and the length of the berth wall in the seaport of Novorossiysk. Particularly, Berth No 1 of the universal terminal has been taken out of operation, Berth No 33 of the coasting head was crossed of the list, and Berth No 38 of the container terminal has been put into operation in the seaport of Novorossiysk.

At present, containers of SK-8000 type with the capacity of up to 10,000 TEU can be handled at Berth No 38 of 390 meters in length, 113 meters in breadth and depths of 15 meters at the jetty head.

In addition, the throughput performances of cargo and passenger terminals in the seaport, the areas of indoor and outdoor storages, the performance of tank volumes in certain sea terminals have been also changed.

The names of a number of operators of sea terminals have also been specified in the Register.

The FSUE “Rosmorport” Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch has 71 berths in the seaport of Novorossiysk which makes up 80.7% of the total number of berths in the seaport. The length of the berth wall is almost 13.4 kilometers that make up 74% of the total length of the berth wall in the seaport of Novorossiysk.

Following the results of the year 2019 a total of 87.3 million tons of cargoes have been transshipped at the branch’s berths, which have been let out for rent by operators of sea terminals. This makes up 56% of total transshipment in the seaport of Novorossiysk.
