Yeisk Directorate hands over motor boats to the Naval Children’s Club

In February 2018 the Yeisk Directorate of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch donated two motor boats to the Naval Children’s Club. Earlier, they were used as rescue boats on the Kapitan Krutov icebreaker.

A solemn handover ceremony involved Deputy Director of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch, Chief of the Yeisk Directorate Sergei Kovalev and President of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization “The Yeiskaya Bora Naval Club” Alexander Zhuravlev. A donation agreement and an act of delivery and acceptance of motor boats have been signed in the presence of the Yeisk Directorate employees free of duty.

For three years the Naval Club had no possibility to organize trips for young seamen due to the absence of motor boats to ensure navigation safety. New motor boats handed over by the Yeisk Directorate will accompany children with coaches and rescuers aboard during sailing sessions and competitions and allow the Club to restore traditions to organize boat trips “The Victory Heritors” and journeys to the sites of Cossack glory.

Three years after children’s dreams of big trips the fairytale will become the true story for many children, who are ready to continue the path of glory of their grandfathers and sailor fathers. Thanks to FSUE “Rosmorport” the children will be able again to actively travel and prepare for twisted adventures.
