The Vladivostok Returns to Murmansk Seaport

The Vladivostok icebreaker being under  operating control of the Murmansk Branch returned to the seaport of Murmansk on October 6, 2017.

The icebreaker made twenty-four hour duty service to control ice operations and ensure monitoring of the ice situation in the water area of the Kara Sea on the NAN HAI 8 floating drill rig site.

While in the Kara Sea jointly with the vessels of FSI Marine Rescue Services of Rosmorrechflot the Vladivostok icebreaker also took part in the exercises for eliminating oil and oil products spills, carrying out rescue operations at sea and fire-fighting operations.

A set of planned measures related to maintenance of equipment, knots and the vessel's mechanisms on the Vladivostok icebreaker will be taken in the seaport of Murmansk before the winter navigation starts.
