Amendments made to data on the seaport of Makhachkala in the Register of Russian Seaports
Based on Rosmorrechflot Resolution No. NZh-23-r of January 30, 2019 the amendments were made to data on the seaport of Makhachkala in the Register of Russian Seaports.
The corrections made in the register of a total number of berths and the length of the berth wall in the seaport of Makhachkala are linked with conducting administrative arrangements to merge four berths of an operator of the sea terminal and specify the total length of berth wall of these berths.
The Rosmorrechflot resolution also specifies a list of operators of sea terminals, which carry out their activities in the seaport of Makhachkala.

The Makhachkala Branch has 12 berths in the seaport that accounts for 66.7% of the total number of berths in the seaport. The length of the berth wall of the Makhachkala Branch berths is 90.1% of the total length of the berth wall in the seaport.
Out of the total number of berths of the Makhachkala Branch eleven berths have been leased to operators of sea terminals according to the established procedure and a berth located in the Sukhogruznaya Harbor of the seaport is used by the branch.
Following the results of 2018 about 2.5 million tons of cargoes has been transshipped on the berths of the Makhachkala Branch that makes 99.6% of the total number of cargo transshipment in the seaport of Makhachkala.
