Workers of the Makhachkala Branch pay tribute to the memory of participants in the 1941-1945 Great Patriotic War
Workers of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Makhachkala Branch took part in the May 9, 2019 events devoted to the celebrations marking the 74th anniversary of the victory in the 1941-1945 Great Patriotic War.
They marched in central streets of Makhachkala in a column of demonstrators to the Alley of Heroes located in the Lenin Komsomol park.
The workers of the branch laid wreaths and flowers at the Eternal Flame, the Soviet Union Heroes stand and a military cemetery to pay tribute to the memory of dead people by observing a minute of silence.
The workers of the Makhachkala Branch and members of their families took part in an action “The Immortal Regiment” and marched on Rasul Gamzatov Avenue with photographs of their relatives who had fought in the Great Patriotic War.
The festivities in Makhachkala ended with colorful fireworks.
