The Urengoy hopper starts carrying out dredging operations in the seaport of Makhachkala

In order to carry out dredging operations planned by FSUE “Rosmorport” on limiting sections of approach canals and water area of the seaport of Makhachkala the Urengoy hopper of the Astrakhan Branch has arrived at the seaport.

Pursuant to the technical requirements, the branch will use the hopper to excavate 80.000 cubic meters of bottom soil, including 50.000 cubic meters of bottom soil on the approach canal of the Dry Cargo Harbor and 30.000 cubic meters on the canal and the bucket of the Oil Harbor for the period from December 2017 to March 2018.

Bottom soil will be piled up in the coastal disposal area in the Dry Cargo Harbor of the seaport of Makhachkala at a distance of 450 meters from Berth No 7 of the Dry Cargo Harbor of the seaport to the depositing site.

The Makhachkala Branch carries out dredging operations in the water area of the seaport of Makhachkala based on receivedpermits and approvals of competent federal executive authorities in strict compliance with the environmental requirements.
