Pilot Training Services

     1. General Information

 

     The FSUE “Rosmorport” Azov Basin Branch provides supervised shipboard services to the interested sea pilot organizations for training as an alternate operator of the vessel traffic system at the seaports of Taganrog and Azov (hereinafter referred as to the VTS of the ports of Taganrog and Azov).
     The training of sea pilots as an VTS alternate operator at the seaports of Taganrog and Azov is conducted by the Azov Basin Branch due to the requirements of GOST P 51874-2002 and the Russian Regulations on Sea Pilots approved by Order No 112 issued by the Russian Transport Ministry on July 22, 2008 in accordance with the standard training program approved by the Azov Basin Branch and coordinated within the procedure established by captains of the seaports of Taganrog and Azov.

     Sea pilots training is undergone on the equipment of the VTS control center of the seaports of Taganrog and Azov and supervised by operators of the VTS control center of the seaports of Taganrog and Azov.

     Operators of the VTS center are high professionals and have certificates in accordance with  Recommendations V-103/1 of the International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities and the requirements of IMO Resolution A.857(20).
 

 

      2. Procedure for Providing Sea Pilot Training Services

 

     The Azov Basin Branch provides supervised  shipboard services to concerned sea pilot organizations in accordance with the terms of the framework agreement being signed to render fee-based serv ices (hereinafter referred as to the Agreement) and the standard training program, which is a supplement to the Agreement.
     In order to sign the Agreement the customer sends a written application by the Azov Basin Branch fax: +7 (863) 218-53-59 or a scan by email: mail@abf.rosmorport.ru. The application will be considered within five working days and in the absence of technical restrictions on the possibility of providing the stated service and against all necessary documents to sign the Agreement the customer is sent two copies of the Agremeent due to be signed. The Agreement signed by the customer shall be returned to the financial division of the Azov Basin Branch at: 76/23 A 2nd Volodarskogo Street, Office 401, Rostov-on-Don, Rostov Region, Russia, 344116. 

     Additional information on the procedure for signing the Agreement shall be gotten by telephone: +7 (8634) 31-73-82 (from Monday to Friday from 08:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Moscow time, the break is from 12:30 to 13:00).

     In accordance with the terms of the signed Agreement to send sea pilots for training the customer  will give an application for sea pilots training within the terms established by the Agremeent and coordinated with a chief of the vessel management service of the Azov Basin Branch by telephone: +7 (8634) 31-76-90 (on weekdays from Monday to Friday from 08:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Moscow time, the break is from 12:30 to 13:00) and by fax of the Azov Basin Branch: +7 (863) 218-53-59 or a scan by email: mail@abf.rosmorport.ru. The application is considered within three days and in the absence of technical restrictions on the possibility of providing the stated services the customer is sent a confirmation on possible sea pilots training by fax or by email.
