Arkhangelsk Branch begins to provide dredging services

The FSUE “Rosmorport” Arkhangelsk Branch offers dredging services in shipping canals and water areas of the seaports of Arkhangelsk, Naryan-Mar, Onega and Sabetta to all concerned organizations.

The Arkhangelsk Branch has three self-transporting bilge dredgers with a hold capacity of 2,000 cubic meters. All dredgers are equipped with a suction dredger with a dragging soil receiver, a hydraulic washout system and mechanical rippers.

In addition, the Arkhangelsk Branch has additional dredging equipment:

- submersible dredging pump DOP200, designed to perform small-scale dredging operations in closed bays, dead-end and restricted areas of port facilities, quarries for sand/gravel extraction, unloading and loading of ground-lifting barges;

- leveling device (plow) designed to level and remove bottom irregularities in the form of individual banks, dunes and ridges, which remain after dredging work with self- transporting bilge dredgers.

Using the available technical means, the Arkhangelsk Branch has the opportunity to carry out dredging works at depths from 5 to 25 m on soils of I–IV groups according to the difficulty of development, with the possibility of releasing soil into an underwater landfill through bottom doors (hatches) of dredgers or by refilling to a shallow underwater or onshore dump using floating and onshore pulp pipelines.

The conditions and procedure for the provision of dredging services by the Arkhangelsk Branch can be found in the section "Dredging Services of the Arkhangelsk Branch".
