Tolbukhin tugboat became part of the tugboat fleet of the branch in the Sabetta seaport

Due to the production need to provide towing operations in the Sabetta seaport, the Tolbukhin tugboat of the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western basin branch was temporarily relocated from the Ust Luga seaport, where it carried out towing operations, to the Sabetta seaport.

The tugboat, transferred under the operational control of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Arkhangelsk branch, will carry out towing operations in the area of the Utreniy marine terminal (section No. 2 of the Sabetta seaport).

It is planned to use the vessel untill the end of the first decade of November 2020, and then return it to its home port.

The Tolbukhin tugboat with a capacity of 3,840 kW has two rotary rudder propellers that provide the vessel with high maneuverability. In the bow of the tug there is a hydraulic tug winch with a tractive force of 35 tons. The vessel's power plant provides the tugboat with a maximum forward tractive force of up to 58 tons. The ice reinforcements of the vessel’s hull allow it to independently follow in loose ice with thicknesses of flat ice up to 80 centimeters.

This vessel will be the second tugboat of the enterprise in the Sabetta seaport. Currently, the Arkhangelsk branch uses the Alexander Kuchin tugboat to provide towing services in the Sabetta seaport.

For more information on the conditions and procedure for the provision of towing services by the Arkhangelsk branch in the Sabetta seaport, see the section "Towing services of the Arkhangelsk branch".
