In 1988 he graduated from Far-East Technical Institute of Fishing Industry and Economy with a specialization in ichthyology and fish breeding, as an ichthyologist — fish breeder.

From July 2007 till January 2010 he held the position of the seaport of Beringovsky cargo area director.
From January 2010 till May 2010 he held the post of the seaport of Beringovsky general director deputy for fleet.
From May 2010 till May 2011 he worked as chief engineer in Sea Trade Port of Beringovsky OJSC.
Since May 2011 he has been appointed deputy director for operations of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Anadyr branch.
