State contract No. 273/OPED-21 of November 25, 2021

In November 2021, a state contract for the construction of the vessel was signed.
On November 16, 2022, the keel was laid.
The vessel is planned to be handed over to the enterprise on December 10, 2024.
The shallow-draft icebreaker is designed for:
  • icebreaker support during winter navigation;
  • assisting convoys of vessels in ice conditions;
  • performing icebreaking operations in port and adjacent areas;
  • towing vessels and other floating structures in ice conditions and in clear water;
  • providing assistance to emergency vessels;
  • providing assistance to vessels in ice conditions;
  • participation in search and rescue operations;
  • extinguishing fires on other vessels, floating and onshore structures;
  • transportation of general cargo in twenty-foot containers on the aft working deck;
  • participation in oil spill response operations

In May 2018, a contract for the construction of the vessel was signed.
In October 2022, an agreement of October 18, 2022 was signed between FSUE “Rosmorport”, SSK Zvezda, LLC and  Onega Shipyard, JSC on moving the construction site of the vessel to the construction site of Onega Shipyard, JSC.
In March 2023 (March 24, 2023) the keel was laid.
The ship is planned to be handed over to the enterprise on December 31, 2027.

In September 2023 (September 1, 2023) the keel was laid.
The ship is planned to be handed over to the enterprise on December 31, 2028.
The harbour tug with ice class is designed for:
  • pilotage and positioning of large-tonnage vessels;
  • transportation, embarkation/disembarkation of pilots to/from vessels;
  • sea towing of vessels, floating facilities and structures in clear water and in ice conditions;
  • refloating vessels;
  • providing assistance in extinguishing fires on vessels, floating and onshore facilities;
  • participation in OSR operations without entering the oil spill;
  • transportation of goods on the upper deck;
  • transportation of special personnel;
  • setting up and removing beacons

The ship is designed to collect oil-containing water from vessels, settle it, separate it with pumping oil products into an oil residue tank and deliver the oil residue ashore to the storage, separated clean water - ashore or overboard in permitted areas.

Collection of wastewater and garbage from vessels with their transportation and delivery to onshore treatment facilities.

With appropriate additional equipment, the ship can be used as an auxiliary transport for delivering OSR oil gathering equipment and defense booms to the spill site (outside the emergency spill area)
